Privacy Policy
Last updated 12 October 2026
Adri asks you to put the contents of your head into an app. That only works if you trust where it goes. This page explains exactly what we collect, who touches it, and how to get rid of it.
The short version. We collect what's needed to run the app and nothing else. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and there are no advertising trackers in Adri. What you capture is yours; you can delete your account and its contents at any time from inside the app.
Who we are
Adri is operated by LemonPillar LLC ("Adri", "we", "us"), 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801. For anything in this policy, including privacy requests, contact support@telladri.com.
For users in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we are the data controller for the personal data described here.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — your email address and a password. Passwords are hashed by our authentication provider; we never see or store the plaintext.
- Profile details — a display name, and a profile picture if you choose to upload one.
- What you capture — the text you send to Adri, and the tasks, reminders, and notes created from it, including any titles, tags, and dates. This is the substance of the service, and it is entirely up to you what goes in it.
Information created automatically
- Search embeddings — numeric representations of your captured text, so you can later ask what you said about something. They are derived from your content and stored alongside it.
- Push notification tokens — an anonymous device identifier issued by Apple or Google, used only to deliver your reminders.
- Subscription status — whether you're on the free or paid plan, and when it renews.
- Limited product analytics — six coarse events tied to your account: that a capture was created, that a capture was confirmed, that the free monthly capture limit was reached, that Adri answered an Ask Adri question, that the monthly Ask Adri limit was reached, and that a plan changed. These records contain no content from your captures. We use them to tune the free allowance, nothing more.
- Operational logs — short-lived server logs used to diagnose errors.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect your location, contacts, calendar, photos, or health data.
- We do not use advertising identifiers and do not track you across other apps or websites.
- We do not buy or sell personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under California law.
This website
telladri.com uses a self-hosted, privacy-preserving analytics tool that measures page views in aggregate. It sets no cookies, collects no personal data, and does not follow you across sites. The website sets no advertising cookies of any kind.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
| Purpose | Data used | Legal basis (EEA/UK) |
|---|---|---|
| Run the service | Account, captures, items | Performance of a contract |
| Deliver reminders | Push tokens, due dates | Performance of a contract |
| Turn messy text into items | Capture text | Performance of a contract |
| Recall past captures | Embeddings | Performance of a contract |
| Billing and plan limits | Subscription status | Performance of a contract |
| Tune the free allowance | Coarse usage events | Legitimate interests |
| Security and abuse prevention | Logs | Legitimate interests |
How your captures are processed
When you send Adri a message, the text is passed to a third-party language model provider so it can be separated into individual tasks, reminders, and notes. This is what makes capture work.
Two things are worth stating plainly. First, that text is processed under a commercial API agreement and is not used to train the provider's models. Second, the reminder itself does not depend on the model: once you confirm an item, it is stored in our database and scheduled by ordinary code, so delivery does not rely on anything interpreting your text again.
Who else processes your data
We use a small number of service providers. They act on our instructions and may only use your data to provide their service to us.
| Provider | What it does |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database and account authentication |
| Cloudflare | Hosting, background jobs, search embeddings, profile picture storage |
| OpenAI | Interprets your captured text into items, and answers the questions you ask Adri about what you saved |
| Anthropic | Does the same when OpenAI is unavailable |
| TypeSafe | Judges which of your saved items a question to Ask Adri, or a message like “done with the slideshow”, refers to |
| Expo | Delivers push notifications |
| RevenueCat | Manages subscription status |
| Apple, Google | Process payments and run the app stores |
We may also disclose data if legally required to, or to protect the rights and safety of our users. If Adri is ever sold or merged, your data may transfer to the new owner, who would remain bound by this policy or notify you of changes.
Where your data is held
Our infrastructure and providers are primarily located in the United States. If you are in the EEA or UK, using Adri involves transferring your personal data to the United States. Where required, these transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another approved safeguard.
How long we keep it
- Your captures and items — until you delete them, or until you delete your account.
- Your account — until you delete it. Deleting your account removes your profile, your captures and items, and your profile picture.
- Operational logs — a short period, then discarded.
- Billing records — retained as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis, so deleted content may persist in a backup for a short time after removal from the live service.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you, and receive a copy of it.
- Correct anything inaccurate.
- Delete your account and its contents.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Complain to a data protection authority, if you're in the EEA or UK.
You can delete your account and everything in it directly in the app: on the You tab, tap Delete account & data. For anything else — including a copy of your data — email support@telladri.com and we'll respond within the time your local law allows (30 days under GDPR, 45 days under California law).
We will never discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access to production systems is restricted, and passwords are stored only as salted hashes. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take this seriously and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where the law requires it.
Children
Adri is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13, or under 16 in the EEA and UK. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact support@telladri.com and we will delete it.
Adri is not a medical service
Adri is a general-purpose tool for capturing and remembering things. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose or treat any condition, and it is not a substitute for professional advice. We do not ask for or knowingly collect health information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.
